About Our Restaurant

One of the longest-running Korean kitchens in the Capital Region, cooking the way we cook at home.

Our Story

Seoul Korean Restaurant opened on Troy-Schenectady Road in 2013 and has been feeding the Capital Region ever since. Owner MiJung Kim, who came here from Seoul, took over the kitchen and kept it close to what she grew up eating.

Nothing here is shortcut. The kimchi ferments in our kitchen, the banchan changes with the season, and the stew bases are built from scratch every morning.

Walk past the shelves of Korean snacks and pantry goods by the door and you’re in a dining room built for families — big tables, quick service and food that arrives hot.

Why Choose Us

You don’t have to know Korean food to eat well here. Tell the staff what you like and they’ll point you to a good starting dish — the menu runs from mild noodles for kids to stews for people who want the heat.
